Long time fan here - thank you both! For monero, what are the benefits/drawbacks of a hardware wallet over a software self-custody wallet? Is it wise to get one for storing/using larger amounts? Do you recommend Trezor? Why is a paper wallet not enough?

when a state claims "there was an intrusion performed by hackers of other nation state" how do we know it really happened? a state official talks to the media and that's it? this could be use to push new laws to spy on people or justify starting a war

Considering getting BT earbuds for my pixel phone. It seems like a very insecure technology, hacking risks especially. What are the risks of BT, when do you personally use it, how do you use it, and when do you not use it for privacy and security reasons?

Regarding switching to signal, would it be fair to tell someone else to reach you using signal instead of some main stream app? something like "sorry I don't check this main stream app often, please use signal so next time I can see your messages sooner"

Is it easy to link email aliases to the same identity? I imagine goverments can request SimpleLogin and AnonAddy for information, and a breach of their companies databases would be discoverable on the deep web. Thanks for your informative podcasts!
